Choices 2027 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment
On September 15, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors adopted the new Choices medical/dental premiums and life insurance rates for next year, beginning January 1, 2027. As you may recall, in 2025, PPOA, along with 14 fellow unions that belong to the Coalition of County Unions (CCU, coalitionofcountyunions.com), negotiated a three-year successor Fringe Benefits contract. So Many Assume; So Few Know
My fellow Custody Assistants, a lot has transpired over the last two months in regard to Unit 612 (Sergeants and Lieutenants) and ALADS ratifying their contracts and seeing the promised monetary compensation hit their bank accounts.
